Ned Lighthouse and Beached

New watercolors for the Ropewalk Gallery in Mattapoisett.  I love the dreamy atmosphere of these two paintings... so quiet and restful.
I guess that was my mood last week while I was painting and listening to my Norah Jones.

I Maureen, thanks a lot for your visit to my blog and for the kind comment you left.
I have just made a fast visit here, and I have to say that your watercolors are really beautiful. I like your palette and the beautiful light that you give to all your paintings. I will put your blog on my blogroll to follow it. Ciao!

I've just found your blog and I'm so glad I have. Your work is fabulous and if one day I learn to paint half as well as you do I will be happy. Thanks for sharing your work and for being so inspirational.
